Country Flavor Restaurant, previously known as the Longtan Roast Duck Restaurant, was founded in November 2004. Close to the quiet beauty of the Longtan Lake, the restaurant is built in a unique Chinese rustic style, appealing to both city-dwellers and foreign tourists. With an area of 2,000 square meters, the restaurant can host 500 guests to its full capacity. The biggest hall can seat up to 100 people. There are altogether 32 tables for individuals and two separate dining areas. Peking roast duck and Shanxi country-style cuisine are the specialties at Country Flavor. The original, simple rustic dishes often remind you of the unsophisticated years of childhood, and give you a combined taste of the country life, the Loess Plateau most characteristic in Shanxi province and the lakeside peace and beauty.
